A largely chronological illustrated narrative about the history, archaeology and modern historical interpretation of the townsite of old Velasco, using the various Forts Velasco as the spine of the story. Once located at the mouth of the Brazos River, this port of entry had an early and significant impact on the development of the Republic and State of Texas. This version is the first edition, including many minor changes from the review-only version. It is composed of a paperback cover with perfect binding, “dust cover info” printed on inside of front & back covers, and no French flaps, printed with all-color 8.5×11″ pages by IngramSpark. The objective was to offer an economical print version. Original batch was 13 copies for physical review and as example for local bulk purchasers, received on 12-Nov-2025.
